Group Engineering Manager

Role Overview

We are building a 0 -> 1 B2B product which is a foundational intelligence layer that enables real-time, context-aware decisioning across enterprise systems.

As a Group Engineering Manager, you will lead multiple high-caliber engineering teams to build and scale this platform from early stage to production-grade adoption. You will operate at the intersection of platform engineering, distributed systems, and AI-driven products, with end-to-end ownership of execution and outcomes.

This role is designed for leaders who have built and scaled complex, high-throughput systems, and are motivated to take on ambiguous, category-defining problems.

Role Expectation

• Org Leadership: Build and lead a team of 2050 engineers, including Engineering Managers and senior ICs
• Execution Excellence: Drive predictable, high-quality delivery across multiple teams and workstreams
• Platform Delivery: Own the development and scaling of core platform capabilities
• Talent Density: Hire, retain, and develop top-tier engineering talent
• Engineering Culture: Establish a culture of ownership, speed, and high standards
• Cross-Functional Impact: Partner with Product and senior leadership to shape direction and deliver outcomes

Experience Expectation

Proven Leadership at Scale

• Experience managing multiple teams and managers in high-performing organizations
• Track record of delivering large-scale, mission-critical systems
• Strong ability to drive execution in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Strong Technical Judgment

• Background in building distributed systems / platform products
• Ability to make sound trade-offs between speed, scalability, and reliability
• Comfortable going deep when required, while operating at a leadership level

Builder Mindset

• Experience in 01 or 1scale product environments
• Bias for action and ability to unblock teams quickly
• Focus on outcomes over process

Talent & Culture

• High bar for hiring and performance
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and engineering managers
