Job Description
Position Overview: The Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering impactful visual content for both offline and digital communication needs of the organization. This role demands creative flair, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of design principles, print processes, and brand aesthetics. The candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams, print vendors, and external agencies to ensure timely and high-quality design output.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Artwork for Offline Collaterals
- Develop creative artwork for print ads, hoardings, kiosks, banners, and other publicity materials.
- Design packaging and label artwork with accurate dimensions, visual balance, and brand alignment.
- Create marketing collaterals such as posters, brochures, danglers, shelf talkers, newsletters, and annual reports.
- Develop designs for business stationery (visiting cards, envelopes, notepads, letterheads, etc.) and brand merchandise (T-shirts, caps, etc.).
- Prepare digital mock-ups and coordinate with printers to ensure color accuracy, layout precision, and production readiness.
- Possess strong knowledge of print production processes including inkjet, offset, and digital printing.
- Create dieline/keyline diagrams and artworks suitable for special finishes like spot UV, embossing, and foil stamping.
2. Design for Digital & Online Media
- Create engaging digital content such as social media creatives, e-newsletters, e-mailers, e-invites, and online advertisements.
- Design presentation templates, infographics, and digital assets for internal and external communications.
- Develop website banners, templates, and visuals aligning with brand identity.
3. Branding & Visual Identity
- Support brand consistency by developing and maintaining visual brand guidelines.
- Design logos, icons, and supporting assets for sub-brands, events, and campaigns.
- Ensure all visuals adhere to the companys corporate identity and design language.
4. Collaboration & Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product, HR, etc.) to gather design inputs and requirements.
- Liaise with photographers, print vendors, and agencies for design execution and production.
- Present creative concepts and mock-ups to stakeholders for review and feedback.
5. Video Editing & Multimedia (Preferred)
- Basic video editing for internal communication, social media, and marketing use.
- Familiarity with motion graphics or animation tools will be an added advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related discipline.
- 24 years of professional experience in graphic designing and print/digital creative development.
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout aesthetics.
- Familiarity with print production and packaging processes.
Technical Skills Required
- Design Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW (mandatory).
- Additional Tools: Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro (preferred).
- Basic Software: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Web Design Tools: Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, XML, and FTP (added advantage).
