About the role

This is not a traditional graphic design role.

You will not spend your days designing layouts in Photoshop or Illustrator.

Instead, you will use the latest AI models to create high-quality ad creatives for some of Indias most exciting D2C brands.

You will learn how to:

• Turn creative briefs into compelling visual concepts
• Use AI tools to generate production-quality ad creatives
• Understand what makes an ad perform
• Develop the judgment required to become an AI-native creative director

You do not need prior experience with AI. We will teach you the tools and workflows.

What matters more is taste, curiosity, and attention to detail.

What are we building?

Most marketing teams are not AI-native yet.

They know AI will change how creative work gets produced, but they often lack the tools, workflows, and talent to adopt it effectively.

That is where we come in.

Soma acts as the AI-native creative arm for modern D2C brands, helping them produce better work, test more ideas, and move significantly faster.

This role sits within our creative team, where we work with some of Indias largest D2C brands to produce AI-generated video ads that drive real revenue through Meta.

Why does this role matter?

AI is reshaping creative production. The fundamentals, strong visual taste, and sharp creative judgment haven't changed.

But the tools have. Some of the best designers we know now spend more time creating on Midjourney than on Illustrator.

If you master this craft of producing marketing content with AI, in the next 12 years you'll be among a small group of people in India who know how to combine AI, design, and marketing outcomes. That's a rare position to be in.

We'll help you get there faster through real production work, room to experiment, and an environment built for learning from day one.

1. Ankit (Co-founder) - Part of growth teams at CRED, PocketFM, Leap Finance
2. Meher (CTO) - 10 years building AI products at DigitalOcean, InMobi, Observe.ai

Role details:

• Location: In-office, Indiranagar (Bangalore)
• Duration: 2 months (Conversion to full-time at the end of the internship)
• Stipend: 20,00025,000/month (revised quickly for strong performers)

We are only looking for people who've already graduated or are graduating in 2026 & would want to convert this into a full-time role at the end of a 2-month internship.
