Graphic Design Intern

The Role

Join the digital arm of Indias media powerhouse (Hindustan Times, Mint, Live Hindustan). We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to create high-impact visuals for some of the countrys most-read digital platforms. If you thrive in a fast-paced newsroom environment and want to see your work reaching millions daily, this is for you.

What Youll Do

• Digital Storytelling: Create social media creatives, infographics, and thumbnails for Hindustan Times and Mint properties.
• Editorial Support: Design engaging visual assets for news stories, long-form features, and special digital microsites.
• Brand Marketing: Assist in designing emailers, app banners, and marketing collateral for our digital subscription products.
• Collaboration: Work closely with editors, product managers, and the marketing team to translate trending topics into viral visuals.

What We Look For

• Speed & Quality: Ability to deliver high-quality designs under tight newsroom deadlines.
• Toolbox: Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Knowledge of Figma or After Effects is a huge plus.
• Design Sense: A strong eye for typography and layoutspecifically for digital/mobile consumption.
• Education: Recent graduate or final-year student in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
