Role Expectation: Grants Writer Cum Personal Secretary Role


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grant Writer to support our funding initiatives by identifying relevant opportunities and developing high-quality grant proposals. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, with the ability to translate technical and business concepts into compelling proposals aligned with funding requirements.


Grant Writing & Research:

  • Identify and evaluate grant opportunities from government bodies, CSR initiatives, NGOs, and international funding agencies
  • Develop, write, and submit well-structured, persuasive, and compliant grant proposals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical inputs, project details, and financial data
  • Prepare detailed budgets, supporting documents, and application materials
  • Ensure adherence to submission guidelines, compliance standards, and deadlines


Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain a centralized database of grant opportunities, submissions, approvals, and outcomes
  • Track proposal status and coordinate follow-ups with funding agencies
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to funding activities
  • Support post-award activities, including documentation, reporting, and compliance
  • Handle confidential documents with a high level of integrity


Executive & Administrative Support:

  • Provide personal and administrative support to senior management
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
  • Handle internal and external communication on behalf of management
  • Assist in preparing reports, emails, proposals, and presentations


Coordination & Follow-ups:

  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
  • Track progress of ongoing proposals and ensure timely follow-ups
  • Support in organizing meetings, events, and official communications


Confidentiality & Professionalism:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of organizational data and communications
  • Demonstrate high levels of professionalism, accountability, and ownership


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong coordination and interpersonal skills


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in English, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Prior experience in grant writing, proposal writing, or executive assistance is preferred

  • Number of grant proposals submitted
  • Proposal success/approval rate
  • Timely submission and compliance adherence
  • Quality and effectiveness of proposals
  • Value of funds secured


Compensation: Salary will be offered as per industry standards and will be commensurate with the candidates experience, skills, and performance track record.
