Job Description
Key Purpose: We are seeking a highly driven and execution-focused individual who brings strong customer-facing experience and has worked closely in field roles such as sales, business development, or operations. The ideal candidate has demonstrated the ability to close or support revenue-generating deals, is comfortable with travel and on-ground execution, and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced startup or early-stage environments. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who is outcome-oriented, adaptable, and willing to navigate ambiguity to deliver results.
An ideal PM profile would be - A junior but hungry executor who has been close to customers, has chased outcomes, and is comfortable with messy, ongroundwork.

- Has closed or supported revenue deals
- Comfortable with travel / execution
- Startup or earlystage exposure
Objective: Drive early revenue, adoption, and market validation for biochar and biooil by executing:
- Farmer adoption paid conversion
- Industrial customer pilots commercial deals
- Early marketplace transactions and price discovery
The role is designed to directly contribute to 2 Cr revenue in the next 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
1. Farmer Adoption & Paid Conversion
- Execute field programs for biochar distribution and usage validation in focused geographies
- Identify 3050 highsatisfaction farmers and drive transition from free to paid usage
- Facilitate sale of biocharFOM blends and capture postharvest feedback
- Work closely with supply teams to ensure timely availability and correct application
Success metric: Paid farmer orders, repeat demand
2. Industrial Customer Development (Biochar & Biooil)
- Identify and engage industrial buyers (chemicals, steel, energy, etc.)
- Coordinate sampling, trials, commercial proposals, and negotiations
- Support closure of trial orders and conversion to repeat commercial offtake
- Execute initial deliveries and ensure issuefree transactions
Success metric: Trial closures, commercial POs, repeat orders
3. Marketplace & Supply Enablement
- Onboard credible biochar sellers and ensure quality listings
- Engage qualified buyers and map demandsupply
- Facilitate negotiations, assist in pricing discovery, and enable deal closure
- Track transaction data and market signals for scaling decisions
Success metric: Deals closed, active buyers/sellers
4. CrossFunctional Execution
- Work with marketing, supply chain, projects, and platform teams for execution
- Share onground insights to refine GTM, pricing, and product positioning
- Support lightweight reporting focused on revenue and conversion

This is a handson execution and closure role.
Required Skills & Profile
MustHave
- Strong bias for action and outcomes
- Comfort with ambiguity and earlystage environments
- Willingness to travel frequently (4050%)
- Ability to speak to farmers, suppliers, and industrial buyers
Preferred (Any 12)
- Experience in agriinputs, commodities, B2B sales, energy, chemicals, or startups
- Exposure to field sales, BD, procurement, or partnerships
- Familiarity with rural markets or industrial customers
Education
Bachelors or masters degree in any discipline.
MBA is optional, not mandatory
Travelling Requirements: 30%-40% depending on Project requirements.
Reporting To: Vice President Biocarbon Business.
