Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Google Workspace Migration Expert based in Noida. The Google Workspace Migration Expert will plan, execute, and monitor end-to-end migration projects from various platforms (such as Microsoft 365, on-prem email, legacy collaboration tools) into Google Workspace. Responsibilities include assessing client environments, defining migration strategies, configuring Google Workspace, and performing data migrations for email, calendars, contacts, drives, and shared resources. The role involves troubleshooting migration issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal downtime. The expert will collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to gather requirements, create documentation, run pilot migrations, and provide user training and post-migration support. Daily tasks also include maintaining best practices, preparing status reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of internal migration tools, scripts, and processes.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience leading Google Workspace migration projects, including planning, execution, validation, and cutover activities.
  • Strong Data Migration skills, including handling large datasets, email and file migrations, and ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Hands-on experience working with Databases and related tools to support migration, reporting, and data reconciliation.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting capabilities for resolving technical issues across mail systems, identity management, networking, and APIs.
  • Strong Analytical Skills to diagnose complex problems, interpret logs, optimize migration performance, and refine project plans.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace Admin Console, directory sync (e.g., Google Cloud Directory Sync), identity and access management, and related tools.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation (such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for streamlining migration and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, documenting processes, and delivering user training and support.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
