We're hiring 1-2 Subject Matter Experts to join our Strategy team at ourBangalore office. This is a full-time, in-office role not remote. You'll be an integrated team member who works directly with students, builds products, and shapes how we deliver success.


What You'll Do

  • Work directly with students diagnose gaps, create remedial plans, guide students through their GMAT journey from first diagnostic to test day
  • Build and improve products contribute to our course content, quiz systems, evaluation frameworks, and AI-powered student tools
  • Drive student success own success metrics for your students, ensure they hit target scores, and capture their success stories
  • Use AI tools daily leverage our MCP-connected systems, Claude-powered evaluation agents, and automated tracking to manage 100+ students effectively


Who You Are

Hard requirement you must have one of these:

  • GMAT Focus Edition:685 or higher, OR
  • Classic GMAT:740 or higher, OR
  • SAT:1520 or higher(99th percentile), OR
  • GRE:99th percentile, OR
  • CAT:99.7 percentile or higher

This is an in-office role based in Bangalore.You must be able to work from our Bangalore office full-time.

Beyond the score, we're looking for someone who:

  • Loves teaching and interacting with students this isn't a back-office role. You'll communicate with students daily through live 1:1 Zoom calls, recorded YouTube videos, and best-practice content. You must be comfortable on camera, not just in live sessions but also recording instructional videos that students will watch independently.
  • Loves building things you get excited about creating better courses, smarter evaluation systems, and tools that help students learn faster.
  • Is a self-learner you learn new things on your own because you enjoy it, not because someone told you to. This is non-negotiable at e-GMAT.
  • Dedicated to learning AI you don't need AI experience yet, but you must have the drive to actively learn how to use AI tools to multiply your impact. This isn't optional it's how we work.
  • Has excellent screen presence confident, clear, and engaging whether on a live call or recording a video. This role involves building a library of instructional content, not just live interactions.
  • Thinks in systems you don't just solve individual problems; you think about how to make the whole process better for every student.


Our Hiring Process

  1. Written explanations Shortlisted Applicants will be given 2-3 GMAT problems and ask you to write clear, student-friendly explanations. We're evaluating your ability to teach, not just solve.
  2. Scenario analysis You'll diagnose a real student's gap from their data and recommend a plan. This tests your ability to think like a mentor, not just a tutor.
  3. Quiz creation exercise Create a short quiz that tests a specific concept. We're looking at your understanding of what makes questions effective for learning.
  4. Final conversation Meet the team, discuss your approach to student success, and align on expectations.
