Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GM / Senior Manager Production to lead manufacturing operations in a Solar Module / Photovoltaic production environment. The role is responsible for managing shift production, improving operational efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and leading large production teams to achieve production targets.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage solar module production operations to meet targets related to Safety, Quality, Yield, and Throughput.
• Handle and supervise large production teams (200+ associates) across manufacturing operations.
• Ensure smooth functioning of production, engineering, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor and improve production performance, cycle time, and manufacturing cost.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage manufacturing equipment, production processes, and workflow optimization.
• Ensure proper inventory management and material control for uninterrupted production.
• Monitor process control and ensure team responds to SPC alarms and control plan requirements.
• Conduct performance evaluation and coaching for shift leaders and production teams.
• Develop training and skill development plans for production associates.
• Plan and manage manpower allocation, resource utilization, and shift operations.
• Ensure production KPIs such as OEE, Yield, and Downtime targets are achieved.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks using TOC (Theory of Constraints) methodology.
• Promote DMAIC and structured problem-solving approaches across manufacturing teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to achieve plant goals.
