German Language Trainer

Role Description The German Language Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The trainer will conduct interactive German language classes for learners at various proficiency levels, focusing on speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, delivering classroom sessions, and assessing learner progress through tests and assignments. The role involves supporting learners in preparing for standardized language exams, providing feedback and guidance, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The trainer will collaborate with other team members to align training content with NextNations global mobility objectives and ensure a high-quality learning experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with experience delivering structured German language instruction.
• Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing curricula and adapting content to different proficiency levels.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with German Literature and cultural context to enrich lessons and support advanced learners.
• Proficiency in German (minimum B2/C1 level or equivalent certification such as Goethe or TELC) and strong command of English for effective instruction and communication.
• Relevant academic background in German Studies, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; formal teacher training or pedagogical certification is an advantage.
• Experience preparing learners for language proficiency exams and assessing language skills through assignments and tests.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse learner groups.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and maintain consistent availability for full-time training schedules.
