Role Description

This is a freelance, on-site role for a German Interpreter, based in Bengaluru. The interpreter will provide professional consecutive interpretation services for business meetings. Additionally, the role requires facilitating smooth communication between German-speaking and local or international stakeholders. The interpreter must ensure accurate and culturally-sensitive communication.

Qualifications

• Fluency in German and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
• Strong proficiency in consecutive interpretation
• Familiarity with technical terminology, particularly in sectors like engineering, IT, and the automotive industry
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and maintain attention to detail in high-pressure situations
• Degree or certification in German language studies, interpretation, or a related field
• Flexibility and willingness to work in a multicultural, collaborative environment
• Previous experience with interpretation in business, technical, or professional settings is preferred
