About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Backend Engineer to design and build scalable backend systems powering next-generation AI applications. You will work closely with product, data, and AI teams to integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and deliver robust, production-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python
• Build and integrate APIs for AI/ML models, especially LLM-based applications
• Work on end-to-end deployment of AI solutions (model integration to production)
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data Science, Frontend)
• Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and system design
• Stay updated with advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI infrastructure

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 36 years of strong backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django)
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI use cases
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Prior experience working with AI/ML pipelines or model deployment is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face
• Exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS)
• Understanding of prompt engineering and RAG architectures
• Contributions to open-source or strong GitHub profile
