Job Title: Senior AI Engineer / Lead Engineer (GenAI & Agentic Systems)

Location: Bangalore or Hyderabad (F2F Interview Required)

Role Objective

As a core member of Hexawares AI transformation team, you will design and implement enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions. You will not just build "wrappers" around LLMs but develop sophisticated Agentic Workflows and RAG pipelines that solve complex business problems autonomously.

Key Technical Responsibilities

• Agentic AI Development: Design and deploy autonomous agents capable of multi-step reasoning, tool-use, and self-correction using frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Advanced RAG Pipelines: Build high-performance Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems, optimizing for retrieval precision, chunking strategies, and vector database management (Milvus, Pinecone, or Weaviate).
• LLM Orchestration: Expertly utilize Python to orchestrate Large Language Models (GPT-4, Claude 3.5, Llama 3) for production environments.
• MCP Integration: Implement the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to standardize how AI agents interact with external data sources, tools, and enterprise environments.
• Copilot Extensibility: Build and customize AI Copilots that integrate seamlessly into existing developer or business workflows.
• LLMOps & Governance: Ensure model performance, cost-efficiency, and security (guardrails) are maintained throughout the application lifecycle.

Experience Requirements (By Band)

• G5 - G6 (Senior Consultant / Lead):
• Minimum 711 years in IT, with 2+ years of hands-on experience in GenAI.
• Strong proficiency in Python and LangChain.
• Proven experience building at least one production-grade RAG or Agentic system.
• G7 - G8 (Architect / Senior Architect):
• 1215+ years of experience with a focus on enterprise architecture.
• Deep understanding of MCP for scaling AI integrations.
• Ability to lead AI strategy, manage stakeholders, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex AI ecosystems.
