GCP Data Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Engineer to support a Data Warehouse (DWH) initiative for a healthcare client. The role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high data quality, reliability, and seamless integration across systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for Data Warehouse (DWH) initiatives
• Work extensively with Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), Cloud Run, and Data Fusion
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for efficient data ingestion and transformation
• Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across data pipelines
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders
• Optimize data storage and query performance using BigQuery best practices
• Orchestrate workflows using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow)
• Implement scalable data processing solutions using Dataflow
• Support deployment and execution of data applications using Cloud Run
• Perform data integration and transformation using Cloud Data Fusion
• Write efficient and scalable code using Python and SQL

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), Cloud Run, and Data Fusion
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience in designing and building data pipelines and DWH solutions
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling concepts
• Experience in optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to ensure data quality, reliability, and governance
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
