Required Technical Skill Set**

1. Gen AI, Prompt Engineering, RAG Pipeline, LLM Orchestrator, Responsible AI, LLMOps
2. Python, Pydantic, FastAPI, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, FastMCP
3. AI standards and protocols: MCP, A2A, ACP, Guardrails
4. Working Experience in Google Vertex AI is a must.
5. Enterprise Architecture, Design Patterns
6. Design cloud-native architectures using Vertex AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub

8. Create HLDs, LLDs, and reference architectures

Role is for a highly experienced GCP Cloud Infrastructure & Modernization Architect to lead large-scale cloud transformation programs for global enterprise customers as part of the TCS CMI practice.

This role is pivotal in shaping cloud infrastructure strategy, migration, and modernization initiatives on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), helping customers accelerate their cloud journeys while aligning to TCS frameworks, offerings, reusable assets, and industry solutions.

The architect will act as a trusted client advisor and thought leader, driving modernization outcomes across hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystems, while contributing to TCS offerings, solution accelerators, and CoE-led innovation.

The architect will also act as a champion driving adoption of AI-powered operations, self-healing infrastructure, and intelligent cloud platforms, while contributing to TCS AI-led cloud offerings, accelerators, and CoE initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and drive end-to-end GCP infrastructure and modernization strategies for TCS customers, aligned with business objectives and industry context.
• Perform current-state assessments, cloud readiness evaluations, and define future-state architectures and migration roadmaps using TCS Cloud Transformation frameworks.
• Contribute to industry-specific cloud roadmaps (CMI-aligned) as part of consulting and advisory engagements.

Architectural Design & Implementation

• Design and govern enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure architectures leveraging GCP services such as:
• Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Load Balancing
• VPC, Shared VPC, Cloud DNS
• Cloud Storage and persistent storage options
• Ensure designs align with Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework and TCS enterprise architecture standards.
• Review and approve solution architectures during deal pursuits, solutioning, and delivery phases.

Modernization & Migration Leadership

• Lead large-scale infrastructure and application modernization programs across industries, including:
• Lift-and-shift migrations
• Re-platforming
• Cloud-native refactoring
• Architect hybrid and multi-cloud solutions using VPN, Interconnect, and shared services models.
• Guide modernization delivery teams using TCS migration factories, accelerators, and automation toolchains.

Practice Leadership

• Act as a GCP Infrastructure SME within TCS, providing technical leadership across accounts and programs.
• Mentor and upskill solution architects, platform engineers, and delivery teams.
• Contribute to TCS cloud offerings, reference architectures, reusable assets, and whitepapers.
• Serve as a spokesperson / ambassador for TCS GCP Infrastructure & Modernization offerings in customer forums and internal communities.

Security, Governance & Compliance

• Define and implement enterprise-grade security and governance architectures using IAM, org policies, encryption, and compliance controls.
• Ensure alignment with customer regulatory requirements and TCS security and risk governance standards.

Automation & Operations

• Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Deployment Manager.
• Enable DevSecOps practices using Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
