Your Team Responsibilities

The Data technology team within MSCI is responsible for providing data products to different product lines of MSCI. We are looking for strong technology professional with exceptional analytical skills to be part of a talented software development team in Mumbai. The selected candidate will have a unique opportunity to design, build and maintain state of the art data management solutions for the world's leading provider of investment decision support tools to investment community across the globe.

Your Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a bright and dynamic engineer, motivated and able to work independently as well as work in partnership with IT and Business teams spread across the globe. The candidate needs to be a strong UI programmer.
Besides technical skills, we are looking for a candidate with a strong sense of ownership and with ability to work in a diverse team.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in UI Programming

• Expert in TypeScript, React JS, Redux and Micro-front end.
• Exemplary design and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of engineering excellence at scale.
• Expert in modern CSS/SASS
• Working experience in Python
• Working knowledge in Azure Devops, build pipeline and deployments.
• Hands -on experience in automated testing using playwright or other framework.
• Experience in pixel perfect UI and UX design.
• Knowledge of web-accessibility best-practices
• Knowledge of front-end security best-practices
• Strong understanding of the HTTP protocol
• Strong written communication skill.
