Frontend Developer - Next.js (2-3 Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Frontend Developer with 2-3 years of experience and strong Next.js expertise to join our development team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, project ownership mindset, and emerging leadership qualities. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver responsive, high-quality user interfaces that drive our startup's growth.

Development & Technical Excellence

• Build responsive and performant user interfaces using Next.js with pixel-perfect precision
• Exceptional attention to detail with a perfectionist mindset for UI implementation
• Develop reusable components and front-end libraries that scale with our growing product
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable code with meticulous attention to detail
• Integrate frontend components seamlessly with REST APIs
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security meet startup standards
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain code quality

Ownership & Leadership

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 2-3 years of professional strong frontend development experience with demonstrable Next.js expertise is a must
• Experience proficiency with React.js fundamentals and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong proficiency with Node.js, Express.js, pnpm
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript for type-safe development
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS for rapid, consistent styling
• Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
• Proficiency with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.)
• Good understanding of SEO principles and Next.js optimization features
• Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs, Postman and data fetching patterns
• Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles
• Proficiency with version control using Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with frontend build tools and modern development workflows
• Experience with performance optimization and web vitals
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design

• Understanding of backend technologies or full-stack development
