French Teacher

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and engaging French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive learning environment that fosters language acquisition, cultural appreciation, and effective communication skills. You will design lesson plans, assess student progress, and encourage students to speak, read, write, and understand French with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruction & Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, interactive French language lessons tailored to the specific age group or proficiency level (beginner to advanced).
• Language Skills Development: Focus on the core pillars of language learning: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Cultural Integration: Introduce students to Francophone cultures, traditions, and history to make learning more immersive and contextual.
• Assessment & Evaluation: Design, administer, and grade tests, quizzes, and assignments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, organized, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to parents or academic management regarding student performance and behavioral development.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Language Proficiency: Near-native or native-level fluency in French (both written and spoken).
• Certifications (Highly Preferred): DELF/DALF certifications (B2, C1, or C2 level) or a degree in French Literature/Language.
• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in French, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching Skills: Proven ability to explain complex grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation rules in an accessible, engaging manner.
• Tools & Technology: Familiarity with digital teaching tools, interactive whiteboards, and language learning software.
