Fractional Forward Deployed Engineer (Generative AI)

AI Advisory and AI Consulting We partner with senior leadership to architect enterprise-grade AI transformation roadmaps. This includes AI-native operating model design, agentic AI strategy, governance and compliance frameworks, vendor and tooling evaluation, and phased transformation execution for organisations across BFSI, IT services, and adjacent regulated industries.

AI Engineering Delivery We build AI-native software development practices for enterprise engineering teams, using agentic harnesses, AI engineering skills, agentic AI frameworks, and AI-integrated development workflows that reflect how production AI is actually shipped today.

AI Capability Building We design and deliver intensive programmes for engineers, faculty, and institutional leadership. We co-create curriculum and reference implementations that build practitioner-grade depth, not certification-grade familiarity.

We are now expanding our practitioner bench to meet rising demand across enterprise transformation and institutional capability engagements in India.

As a Fractional Forward Deployed Engineer (Generative AI), you will deploy into DeployProAI's delivery and advisory engagements co-building curriculum, leading hands-on sessions, mentoring engineers and faculty through real AI product builds, and supporting enterprise AI transformation work where deep practitioner depth is needed.

You will not deliver from someone else's slides. You will help shape what gets taught, how it gets taught, and what gets built. You will work directly with the founder and with senior practitioners in the network.

This is a frontline role in every sense you are the face of DeployProAI in the rooms where capability is built and transformation is shaped.

• Co-create and deliver intensive AI engineering programmes for engineers, faculty, and institutional cohorts.
• Lead hands-on sessions on agentic AI frameworks, agentic harnesses, AI engineering skills, and AI-integrated software development.
• Mentor participants through real product builds from architecture to deployment.
• Support enterprise AI advisory engagements where deep practitioner perspective is needed in the room.
• Co-design curriculum, reference implementations, and methodology alongside the DeployProAI team.
• Represent DeployProAI's engineering depth in front of enterprise leaders, university faculty, and student cohorts.
• Stay current with the rapidly evolving GenAI tooling landscape and translate it into deliverable, production-grade practice.

Experience and depth

• 10+ years building production software systems, with meaningful recent work in Generative AI, LLMs, multi-agent systems, or agentic AI.
• Currently in a senior engineering role, or independently consulting for serious enterprise clients.
• Hands-on practitioner comfortable working with the latest agentic frameworks, AI engineering skills, and AI-integrated development tooling.

Communication and teaching ability

• Strong communicator can explain hard technical concepts to other engineers without dumbing them down.
• Prior experience in knowledge sharing, upskilling engineers, running workshops, or contributing to technical education is strongly preferred.

Working style

• Ability to learn fast and deliver frameworks and tooling in this space shift week to week; comfort with that pace is essential.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves, build alongside participants, and debug in front of a room.
• Strong professional presence calm, credible, and clear under live conditions.

Availability

• Minimum 36 days per month available for delivery and preparation.
• Open to both weekday and weekend engagements.
• Candidates with immediate availability for collaboration are strongly preferred we have engagements live right now.
