The Role


We're hiring a Solution Engineer who sits at the intersection of deep technical knowledge and client-facing ownership. This isn't a support role it's a hands-on, consultative position where you own the end-to-end technical integration experience for every client.


You'll work directly with engineering and product teams at our clients many of them India's top unicorns and fast-scaling startups. Clients integrate OTPless in two ways: via our Mobile SDKs (Android & iOS) and via our APIs. You'll be fluent in both. You'll understand their architecture, map it to the right OTPless offering, guide integrations over calls, Slack, email, and on-site visits, and be the technical bridge between client teams and OTPless Engineering.


Every integration is an opportunity to turn a client's authentication problem into a seamless, production-grade solution whether they're embedding our SDK into a mobile app or wiring up our API on their backend. You'll read logs, debug across systems, write SQL to investigate issues, and suggest the right OTPless product configuration every single time.


Between integration cycles, you'll feed insights back into our product and docs to make every future integration faster.


This role directly determines how fast clients go live and how satisfied they stay. That's real impact.


What You'll Do


  • Own the full technical integration lifecycle from discovery call to production go-live, across both Mobile SDK and API integrations
  • Understand client systems, stack, and architecture; determine whether a Mobile SDK (Android/iOS) or API-based integration is the right fit and guide accordingly
  • Walk Android and iOS developers through OTPless Mobile SDK integration setup, configuration, debugging, and go-live
  • Guide backend and full-stack engineers through OTPless API integration authentication flows, token handling, webhooks, and error management
  • Proactively review client integration code (mobile or backend) and surface issues before they ship to production
  • Debug cross-layer issues across mobile, API, network, and backend wherever the problem lives
  • Read and analyze server logs, mobile crash logs, error traces, and API responses to diagnose and resolve client issues
  • Write and run SQL queries to investigate data discrepancies, usage anomalies, and integration health
  • Suggest the right OTPless product features and configurations based on each client's specific use case and integration type
  • Handle technical escalations from client teams via calls, Slack, email, and on-site visits
  • Build and maintain sharp integration documentation, runbooks, and reference implementations for both SDK and API paths
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure clean handoffs and fast resolutions
  • Feed client insights and recurring issues back to the product team to drive continuous improvement


What We're Looking For


Must-Have

  • 13 years of experience in a Solution Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Integration Engineer, or similar client-facing technical role
  • Strong written and verbal communication you'll be on calls, Slack, email, and on-site with client dev teams daily
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs: authentication flows, request/response structures, token handling, webhooks, error handling, and debugging
  • Working knowledge of Mobile SDK integration comfortable reading Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Obj-C) integration code and guiding developers through setup
  • Comfort reading and analysing logs server logs, API error traces, mobile crash logs, and Logcat/Xcode output
  • Working knowledge of SQL able to write queries to investigate data, debug issues, and validate integrations
  • Ability to understand client technical requirements and determine the right integration path (Mobile SDK vs API)
  • Consultative mindset you ask the right questions, listen carefully, and suggest solutions with conviction
  • Patient and methodical under ambiguity you debug first, panic never


Good to Have

  • Hands-on Android development experience (Kotlin/Java) shipped an app or worked on SDK integration
  • Hands-on iOS development experience (Swift) or React Native / Flutter exposure
  • Experience with authentication systems, identity platforms, or security infrastructure
  • Familiarity with network debugging tools: Charles Proxy, Postman, Android Studio Logcat, Xcode Console, or Chrome DevTools
  • Prior experience integrating or supporting third-party SDKs at a product startup
  • Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or developer-tools company
  • Product startup background preferred over service company experience
