Reports to: Founder (day-to-day) + Technical Advisor (architecture/code reviews).

Two-track role: 7080% B2B AI workflow platform; 2030% Amazon FBA internal tooling.

Contract-to-hire option: 812 weeks with clearly defined milestones.

Were a small, profitable holding company building and operating focused businesses. Were hiring our first engineer to work directly with the founder and a technical advisor to ship production systems that remove operational bottlenecks and unlock scale.

This is a ground-floor role with real ownership. No legacy codebases, no layers of management, no ticket factory. Youll make architecture decisions, pick pragmatic tooling, and ship.

Were explicit about scope: this is a product engineering role. You are not expected to run operations, manage staff, or own customer support. Your output is production software that gets used weekly (often daily).

Multi-tenant web application for regulated professional services teams (tenant isolation, RBAC, audit logs, maker-checker approvals).

Configuration-driven workflow engine (state machines + approvals): new jurisdictions and product types added via config + templates, not bespoke code.

AI-powered document generation: composable prompt architecture (system context + jurisdiction rules + client data + output instructions), structured output parsing, quality evaluation loops, and template rendering a controlled generation pipeline with confidence scoring, explainability logging, and human-in-the-loop approval.

Initial workflows: KYC completeness/refresh, Business Plan generator, Customer Risk Assessment (CRA), Board packs/resolutions.

Automated scorecards + alerting (inventory days-of-supply, TACoS/ACoS drift, listing suppression risk, account health).

Data ingestion from third-party systems and Amazon SP-API (Selling Partner API) where appropriate.

Advertising automation: build internal PPC bid management and campaign tooling to replace third-party platforms, with rule-based bid adjustments, budget pacing, and performance reporting.

AI-assisted campaign intelligence: lightweight model-driven analysis (e.g. Claude Haiku for low-latency inference) to review bid performance, flag anomalies, recommend budget reallocation, and surface optimisation opportunities that rule-based systems miss.

Exception-based management: Green/Yellow/Red thresholds with an escalation decision tree.

Workflow tooling for recurring ops (weekly review pack generation, inbox triage support, KPI dashboards).

Production-ready foundations: repo, CI/CD, environments, secrets management, auth, RBAC, logging/monitoring, secure storage.

A working end-to-end slice of the B2B platform: one workflow producing a document from structured inputs, with human review + export.

Amazon: initial data model + a simple scorecard dashboard, with 23 automated alerts.

Two workflows live in pilot testing (shadow run) with real anonymised cases; quality improving weekly.

Template management v1 (upload/version/variables), plus audit trail per workflow case.

Amazon: automated data pulls for key metrics + weekly review pack generation (format chosen for speed).

Pilot-ready product: 23 workflows stable enough for daily use; clear KPI report on time saved and error reduction.

Multi-tenant architecture locked so onboarding client #2 is configuration, not engineering.

Amazon: exception-based alerting + a repeatable weekly KPI review workflow.

This is a builder role. Were looking for a senior/lead engineer who has shipped real systems end-to-end.

Full-stack ownership: you can design, build, deploy, and operate production systems.

Multi-tenant SaaS experience: tenant isolation, RBAC, and audit trails are first-class concerns for you.

Strong API integration experience (auth, rate limits, retries, idempotency, data sync patterns).

Production LLM experience (structured outputs/JSON, evals/quality control, prompt + template systems).

Pragmatic data engineering fundamentals (Postgres, queues/jobs, ETL/ELT basics, observability).

Comfort operating in ambiguity and turning messy real-world workflows into software.

Security mindset: least privilege, encryption, secrets, and safe handling of sensitive documents.

Workflow engine / state machine experience (approval-gated business processes).

Fintech/regtech/enterprise B2B experience (compliance-minded UX; auditable systems).

Document processing/OCR (Textract/Document AI) and template automation (DOCX templating).

Amazon/e-commerce systems experience (SP-API, PPC analytics, inventory planning).

Weekly demos are non-negotiable.

We ship small increments, measure impact, and iterate with real users.

Documentation is part of the deliverable: if another engineer cant pick it up, its not done.

Human-in-the-loop is a feature: the platform supports review/approval, not autopilot compliance.

Base salary (India): 4570 LPA depending on seniority and shipped work.

Performance bonus: milestone-based.

Equity / long-term upside: available for the right candidate (founding engineer track).
