Zex is an early-stage startup building Zex4u a next-generation cybersecurity intelligence platform focused on identity protection, breach intelligence, and AI-driven risk scoring.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Python Developer | AI Engineer who can design and build intelligent backend systems and ML pipelines from the ground up.
This is not a typical API role youll be working on:
Security intelligence systems
Data-heavy pipelines
AI/ML models that analyze risk, behavior, and threats

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI preferred)
Build and maintain ML/AI pipelines for threat detection and risk analysis
Develop security intelligence systems that aggregate and process data from multiple sources
Work on data pipelines (ETL, streaming, batch processing) for large-scale datasets
Implement model inference systems with performance optimization
Contribute to system architecture, scalability, and performance design
Collaborate in building risk scoring and behavioral analysis engines

Must-have Skills
Strong Python with ML ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn)
Experience building or working with ML models or AI systems
Backend API development (FastAPI preferred)
Experience with data processing & pipeline building (ETL/streaming/batch)
Understanding of model inference, optimization, and performance tuning

Good-to-have Skills
Familiarity with security APIs (HaveIBeenPwned, VirusTotal, etc.)
Experience with microservices or distributed systems
Experience with data scraping / OSINT tools
Experience building risk scoring, recommendation, or anomaly detection systems

Tech Stack (Current & Planned)
Python (FastAPI)
ML Frameworks: PyTorch / TensorFlow
Data: PostgreSQL, large-scale datasets
AI/ML: Custom models for behavioral analysis & threat intelligence

Compensation
(Negotiable based on experience)
