About Rancho Labs

Rancho Labs is an IHFC, IIT Delhi-backed edtech startup founded in 2019 by IIT Delhi alumni. We are building the next generation of innovators through AI, coding, robotics, and experiential learning programs. To date, we have trained over 30,000 students, delivered more than 100,000 learning hours, and established a strong presence across schools, learning centers, and government partnerships.

As we enter our next phase of growth, including an upcoming fundraising round and we are looking for an exceptional Founder's Office Intern to work directly alongside our founders on strategy, fundraising, and high-impact initiatives.

About the Role

This is a rare 01 opportunity to operate at the center of a fast-scaling startup. As a Founder's Office Intern, you will partner directly with the founders (IIT Delhi alumni, 2021 batch) and act as a force multiplier across the organization. You will sit in on founder-level discussions, contribute to live fundraising conversations, and own projects that create measurable business impact within 90 days.

This role is ideal for someone seeking deep exposure to investor conversations, fundraising execution, and strategic growth and who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Initiatives & Founder Support

• Partner with founders on business strategy, go-to-market planning, and expansion
• Lead special 01 projects across growth, partnerships, and operations
• Build internal dashboards, reports, and decision-making frameworks

2. Fundraising & Investor Management

• Support the upcoming fundraising round end-to-end
• Build investor lists, outreach pipelines, and tracking
• Assist in developing pitch decks, financial models, and data rooms
• Join investor calls and manage timely follow-ups

3. Networking & Outreach

• Drive high-quality outreach to investors, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders
• Represent Rancho Labs across startup, edtech, and IIT ecosystem networks
• Build and nurture relationships with VCs, angels, and operators

4. Market Research & Insights

• Conduct deep dives on edtech trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities
• Identify strategic partnerships across schools, governments, and institutions
• Translate research into actionable insights for leadership decisions

5. Founder's Office Execution

• Ensure fast, reliable execution of key priorities across teams
• Solve ambiguous problems with structured, first-principles thinking
• Operate as a trusted extension of the founder

6. Financial Analysis & Documentation

• Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and unit-economics analyses to support strategic decisions
• Prepare investor-ready documentation data rooms, MIS reports, and financial summaries
• Track key metrics and create structured documentation to ensure audit-readiness and reporting accuracy

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Have

• Strong problem-solving and structured thinking
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• High-ownership mindset with a clear bias for action
• Working knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, or analysis (Excel/Sheets proficiency)

Preferred

• Experience across investment firms, startups, consulting, or finance
• Exposure to equity or fundraising
• Strong networking and outreach ability
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Comfort working with numbers, data, and structured documentation
