Role Overview
We're looking for a highly creative, entertainment-focused, and detail-driven Film Poster Developer / Graphic Designer to create impactful poster designs and key visual assets for films, web series, OTT titles, trailers, and digital campaigns. This role is ideal for someone with a strong visual sense, cinematic design taste, and a proven portfolio of popular entertainment posters already developed in past roles or freelance assignments.
You'll work closely with marketing teams, creative leads, editors, producers, and clients to translate story, genre, mood, and star value into poster artwork that is visually striking, commercially appealing, and platform-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop official posters, teaser posters, character posters, motion poster base layouts, title announcement creatives, and campaign artwork for entertainment content.
- Create visually compelling key art that reflects the film or show's genre, mood, cast positioning, and audience appeal.
- Work from briefs, references, stills, raw assets, and promotional material to build high-quality poster concepts and final designs.
- Design adaptations and resizes for theatrical, OTT, social media, YouTube, digital ads, and outdoor marketing formats.
- Collaborate with editors, retouchers, photographers, marketing teams, and creative leads to ensure consistency across campaign assets.
- Handle photo manipulation, compositing, typography, color treatment, and finishing for premium entertainment artwork.
- Present multiple poster directions when needed and incorporate feedback quickly across revision rounds.
- Maintain organized source files, layered working files, font usage, stock references, and final export versions.
- Stay updated on poster trends, entertainment campaign styles, and evolving visual language across Indian and international media.
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in film poster design, entertainment graphics, key art development, or visual campaign design roles.
- Must have already created a strong body of popular entertainment posters in the past, with a portfolio that demonstrates commercially released or widely circulated poster work.
- Strong command of Adobe Photoshop; working knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, and basic After Effects is a plus.
- Strong expertise in poster composition, cinematic typography, photo manipulation, retouching, color mood creation, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience designing for films, web series, OTT platforms, celebrity-led campaigns, music launches, or entertainment marketing.
- Good understanding of print and digital design specifications, aspect ratios, high-resolution exports, and platform adaptation needs.
- Ability to interpret story themes and convert them into marketable, audience-facing visual concepts.
- Strong attention to detail, revision discipline, and the ability to manage fast-paced deadlines across multiple projects.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with internal teams, directors, and clients.
