About the Role

At Altius we are hiring for a critical leadership role in Finance for the position of Lead - Fixed Assets & Compliances.

Responsibilities

• Review all fixed assets capitalization / decapitalization (including retirement, scrapping and sale) and provide approvals (based on delegation of authority) on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, Indian and US GAAP and auditor requirements.
• Review and ensure that appropriate physical verification of fixed assets is completed as per requirements to ensure accurate records in the books of accounts.
• Manage all activities relating to Fixed Asset accounting and reporting and ensure adherence with the Monthly Reporting Calendar.
• Track status of pending insurance claims and manage escalations to recover amounts due from the insurance company / broker.
• Oversee that necessary support relating to fixed asset accounting is provided to the internal and statutory auditors in a timely and transparent manner.

Qualifications

• Education: Chartered Accountant
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in Finance function, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role
