Role Overview

The Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, controls, and

business partnering across several European countries You will be a key interface

between local operations and the group finance team, ensuring compliance with US

GAAP, SOX, and local statutory requirements.

Heres What Youll Do:

Financial Management & Reporting

Lead the month-end close and group consolidation processes for the European

region.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with US GAAP and local

GAAP requirements.

Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with group

accounting policies.

Coordinate statutory audits and manage relationships with external auditors

across all four jurisdictions.

SOX & Compliance

Act as the regional lead for SOX compliance, working closely with internal and

external auditors and the US finance team.

Own and enhance internal controls and documentation to ensure full

compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Implement, improve and monitor robust control frameworks across all finance

processes.

Commercial Finance & Business Partnering

Provide commercial insight and analysis to regional leadership and support

strategic initiatives.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities across the

region.

Partner with business leaders to drive financial performance and cost control.

Tax & Regulatory

Manage tax compliance and reporting across all entities, working with external

advisors as needed.

Oversee VAT, corporate tax filings, and regulatory obligations in each country.

Support transfer pricing and intercompany transactions in collaboration with the

group tax team.

Team Leadership

Manage and develop a regional finance team (on and oYshore Accounting and

Accounts Payable).

Foster a high-performance, collaborative finance culture aligned with group

values.

What You Bring to the Table:

Preferably Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / ICAS or equivalent).

Trained within a Top audit firm, with at least 10 years of post-qualification

experience, newly promoted manager level is preferred.

Experience working in or with a NASDAQ-listed or publicly traded company

environment.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal control

frameworks.

Strong foundational knowledge of IFRS, exposure to diYerent GAAPs is helpful.

Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
