Financial Controller

Role Overview

Frido is looking for a highly detail-oriented and process-driven Finance Controller to own and strengthen the companys accounting foundation. This is a pure-play accounting role focused on financial control, compliance, reporting accuracy, audits, and process governance. The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing accounting operations in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a D2C or consumer brand setup.

What Youll Do

• Own end-to-end accounting operations across the organization
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, and financial reporting
• Oversee AP, AR, fixed assets, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ROC, and other statutory requirements
• Lead internal, statutory, and tax audits end-to-end
• Strengthen financial controls, SOPs, and accounting governance
• Drive accounting process improvements and automation initiatives
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure audit-ready books and complete financial accuracy at all times

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience in accounting and financial control
• Strong expertise in accounting standards, taxation, and compliance
• Prior experience in D2C, retail, consumer, or manufacturing businesses preferred
• Hands-on experience with ERPs such as NetSuite, SAP, Zoho, Oracle, etc.
• Strong understanding of high-volume transaction environments
• Extremely detail-oriented with high ownership and accountability
