Role: Finance Controller

Location: HSR, Bengaluru

Mode of work: 6 days work from office

CTC: 8 9 LPA

Job description

The Finance controller will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. This position is well suited for someone with in-depth understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills with effective communication.


Key Responsibilities

1.Financial Operations & Accounting

Manage day-to-day accounting activities (AP, AR, invoicing, payments)

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation

Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions

Support in payroll administration and full and final settlements

2.Financial Reporting & Analysis

Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports, Cash flow statements and relevant KPIs for the business

Trend analysis of the KPIs

Support preparation of basic financial statements

3.Budgeting & Planning

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

Monitor actuals vs budget and variation analysis

Prepare rolling forecast based on the actuals

4.Compliance & Audit Support

Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.)

Maintain records for audit readiness

Coordinate with auditors and external consultants when required

5.Business Support

Work with internal teams to track expenses and improve cost visibility

Provide basic financial inputs to support decision-making

Support ad-hoc finance-related tasks as needed


Preferable skills

Finance & Accounting Basics

Strong understanding of accounting principles

Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other regulatory compliance

Experience with Tally and Zoho

45 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting

Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field

Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus
