Role Summary

The Finance Controller is responsible for safeguarding the financial integrity of the organization through accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and effective financial planning. The role acts as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, supporting operational excellence, cost optimization, and informed decision-making in a manufacturing and export-oriented environment.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Working Capital analysis.

Deliver meaningful financial insights through variance analysis, performance dashboards, and key financial and operational KPIs.

Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning in collaboration with business and operations teams.

Partner with senior management, plant controllers, and department heads to support financial decision-making and cost control initiatives.

Establish, monitor, and continuously improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and governance frameworks.

Oversee working capital management, including receivables, payables, inventory, and cash flow optimization.

Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance requirements.

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring high standards of accuracy, accountability, and knowledge continuity.

Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and automation to improve efficiency and data reliability.

Education & Experience

Education: MBA ,MCOM in Finance or related field (CA / CPA / CMA preferred).

Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in finance controlling, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or export-driven organizations.

Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial systems, and performance management.
