Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist to manage and streamline financial operations. This role involves working across accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial planning to support business decision-making and ensure financial health.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement areas
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises
Compliance & Audits
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations
- Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audits
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and records
Cash Flow & Cost Management
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements
- Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support pricing and margin analysis
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Implement and optimize financial systems and tools
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (CA/CPA/CMA is a plus but not mandatory)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience
- Open to candidates across experience levels (05+ years)
- Freshers with strong academic background and internships are welcome
- Experienced professionals should demonstrate hands-on exposure to finance operations and reporting
