Finance Manager – D2C

Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Manager who can take end-to-end ownership of finance, audit, compliance, and business reporting in a fast-growing D2C environment. The candidate should be strong in auditing, taxation, MIS, and ERP systems, with the ability to manage finance independently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Auditing & Financial Finalization (Core)

Lead and manage:

Statutory audits

Internal audits

Tax audits

Ensure timely finalization of books of accounts

Coordinate with auditors and close audit observations

2. GST, TDS & Compliance

Handle end-to-end GST compliance

GSTR filings, reconciliations, notices

Manage TDS deductions, filings, and compliance

Oversee multiple GST registrations across states

Ensure compliance with Income Tax and statutory laws

3. D2C / Ecommerce Finance

Manage financials for:

Website (Shopify or similar)

Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)

Track:

Revenue, returns, refunds

Discounts, commissions

Ensure accurate channel-wise profitability reporting

4. ERP & Systems

Work on ERP systems (Odoo preferred)

Ensure:

Accurate accounting

System-driven processes

Drive automation and process improvements

5. MIS & Business Finance

Prepare and review:

Monthly MIS

P&L statements

Cash flow statements

Ratio analysis

Provide insights on:

Revenue trends

Cost optimization

Profitability

6. Reconciliations & Controls

Manage:

Bank reconciliations

Vendor & customer reconciliations

Revenue reconciliations

Ensure accuracy and control over financial data

7. Cash Flow & Working Capital

Monitor:

Cash inflow and outflow

Receivables and payables

Ensure efficient working capital management

8. Compliance & IT Laws

Ensure adherence to:

Income Tax laws

Corporate and regulatory requirements

Handle notices, assessments, and filings

Candidate Requirements

Must-Have

Strong experience in:

Auditing (mandatory)

GST & TDS compliance

MIS and financial reporting

Experience handling multiple GSTs (multi-state)

Strong understanding of:

P&L, cash flow, and reconciliations

Hands-on experience with ERP systems

Good to Have

D2C / Ecommerce experience

Experience with Odoo ERP
