Finance Controller

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Lead and oversee end-to-end accounting and finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.

Possess strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), financial controls, statutory requirements, and listed company compliance.

Manage and coordinate statutory, internal, and regulatory audits, with proven experience working closely with Big 4 audit firms.

Drive month-end and year-end closing processes, financial statement preparation, and compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks.

Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.

Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and process improvement projects.

Support governance, risk management, and compliance activities while strengthening financial processes and controls across the organization.

Operational

Establish a robust finance department with verticals to deal with Finance strategy, direct and indirect tax compliances, operations,

Business finance, MIS & reporting.

To ensure statutory compliances including the quarterly and annual financial statements and presenting the same to the Audit

Committee and Board of Directors and other financial stakeholders.

Monitoring taxation structuring, in terms of business planning and other investment proposal. Comply with corporate taxation

matters including tax planning, compliance of GST.

Maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (including the legal and compliance, BU heads, Technology

and other relevant peer teams) and key external stakeholders (audit firms, lawyers, Regulators, Investors, Third-party

vendor, Company management and board)

Think technology first and work closely with the tech team in continuous improvements on systems and processes which will

benefit the organization in its cost objective. establish robust and scalable processes with the appropriate risk mitigants

Ideal Candidate: A hands-on finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise, a proven track record of managing complex finance operations, and the ability to influence stakeholders while driving high standards of financial governance and compliance.
