Job Title: Finance Associate Global Delivery Services (UAE Mandatory, UK Exposure Preferred)

Location: Bangalore, India / United Arab Emirates

Job Summary

We are hiring a high-performing ACCA-qualified (or near qualified) professional to join our Global Delivery Services team as a Finance Associate. This role is strongly focused on UAE finance, accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax compliance, and requires candidates who can independently handle UAE-related responsibilities from day one.

Exposure to UK (England) accounting and compliance will be an added advantage; however, deep UAE experience is the core requirement, with limited flexibility for high-potential candidates who demonstrate strong technical capability and learning agility.

Key Responsibilities

UAE Accounting & Financial Reporting (Core Responsibility)

- Independently manage books of accounts in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations

- Handle end-to-end accounting: GL, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and reconciliations

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Drive audit readiness and coordinate with external auditors

UAE VAT & Corporate Tax (Critical Requirement)

- Prepare, review, and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations

- Ensure accurate VAT treatment and documentation across transactions

- Support UAE Corporate Tax (CT) computations, filings, and documentation

- Proactively track regulatory updates and ensure full compliance

UK Exposure (Preferred)

- Support basic UK accounting and compliance (VAT, statutory filings, etc.)

- Coordinate with UK stakeholders where required

- Adapt to multi-country reporting environments

Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Oversee invoicing, collections, and vendor payments

- Ensure strong control over receivables and working capital

- Maintain accuracy and timeliness in AP/AR processes

Financial Analysis & Controls

- Prepare MIS, variance analysis, and management reports

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives

- Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance frameworks

Systems & Process Excellence

- Work on ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Zoho, Tally, or similar)

- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation

- Maintain high-quality documentation and audit trails

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory (Strict Requirement):

- ACCA qualified or in final stages

- Strong hands-on experience in UAE accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax

- Solid working knowledge of IFRS

- Ability to independently manage UAE finance operations

Conditional Flexibility:

- Limited flexibility may be considered for candidates with strong accounting fundamentals and exposure to UAE, backed by high learning agility

Preferred:

- Exposure to UK (England) accounting/compliance

- Experience in global delivery/shared services environment

- Familiarity with UAE Free Zone and Mainland compliance

Technical Skills:

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- High attention to detail and ownership mindset

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
