About this role

As Posha scales across functions and geographies, we're looking for a Finance Associate to help build and strengthen the financial foundation that powers our growth.

This role offers the opportunity to work across financial operations, compliance, reporting, and business processes while collaborating closely with teams across operations, people, supply chain, and leadership. You'll play a key role in ensuring that our financial systems and processes scale efficiently alongside the business.

What will my work responsibilities look like if I join Posha?

Financial Operations:

• Own day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivables, bank reconciliations, and payment processing.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support cash flow tracking activities.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning exercises.
• Track actuals against budgets and help identify key variances and trends.
• Prepare financial analyses and reports to support business decision-making.

Compliance and Taxation:

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other applicable filings.
• Support tax filings, audits, and interactions with external consultants and auditors.
• Maintain documentation and records required for financial and statutory compliance.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian accounting standards.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Generate reports and insights to help improve operational and financial efficiency.

Collaboration and Process Improvement:

• Partner with teams across operations, supply chain, people, and business functions to streamline financial workflows.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial processes.
• Help build scalable financial systems and controls as the company grows.

What makes you a match for us?

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• CA Inter or equivalent qualifications are a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business finance roles, preferably in high-growth startups, consumer businesses, manufacturing, hardware, or operations-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
