Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Faculty 3D Animation role based at Arena Animation Thane. The faculty member will plan and deliver classroom and lab sessions on 3D animation fundamentals, modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and animation workflows, following the institutes curriculum. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, demonstrations, assignments, and projects, while guiding learners through software tools and industry-standard pipelines. The role also involves evaluating student work, providing constructive feedback, mentoring learners on portfolios and showreels, and supporting them in developing professional skills. The faculty will collaborate with academic coordinators and other trainers to maintain high teaching standards, update content as technologies evolve, and participate in workshops, reviews, and industry-oriented activities.
Qualifications

Strong 3D animation expertise, including character animation principles, timing, posing, and performance.
Proficiency in 3D production workflows such as modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and rendering using industry-relevant tools (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or similar).
Experience in related media domains such as VFX, gaming, AR/VR, motion graphics, or multimedia production is an advantage.
Demonstrated teaching, training, or mentoring ability, with skills in classroom management, curriculum delivery, and student evaluation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive approach.
Portfolio or showreel showcasing high-quality 3D animation and related work; prior industry experience in animation or production is preferred.
Diploma or degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Design, Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Commitment to staying updated with emerging tools, techniques, and trends in 3D animation and the wider media & entertainment industry.
