Factory Manager

Role: Plant / Factory Manager

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 12-18 Years

Language : Should be proficient in Tamil (Mandatory)

Job Objective

Responsible for overall plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, inventory, budgeting, statutory compliance, and workforce management. The role ensures efficient manufacturing, cost optimization, timely dispatches, employee productivity, and adherence to safety and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall production, maintenance, quality assurance, warehousing, dispatches, and logistics operations.
• Drive production planning, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and plant improvement initiatives.
• Own plant budgeting and overall Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
• Ensure implementation of quality systems, safety standards, and statutory compliance including labor, pollution control, fire, and electrical laws.
• Lead and develop plant teams while ensuring workforce discipline, productivity, and engagement.
• Coordinate with external authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders related to plant operations.

Qualification

• BTech / MTech / MSc or equivalent technical qualification
• Should be proficient in Tamil (Mandatory)
