Job Description:

We at SEDEMAC are looking for a Travel Desk Executive to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The Travel Desk Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end corporate travel arrangements for employees, including domestic and international travel.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end corporate travel arrangements for employees, including domestic and international travel.
• Handle flight, train, bus and hotel bookings, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely confirmations.
• Coordinate visa processing, travel insurance, and related documentation for international travel.
• Maintain knowledge of consulate correspondence and assist employees with visa queries and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with general travel-related rules, regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of travel expenses and generate periodic reports.
• Negotiate rates with travel agencies, hotels, and other vendors for better deals.
• Provide support for last-minute changes, cancellations, and emergency travel needs.
• Stay updated on travel advisories, consulate updates, and international travel norms.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel processes, visa rules, and consulate procedures.
• Efficiency in using different travel portals and booking platforms
• Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Information on Selection Process:

• The selection process will include an aptitude test plus interviews.
• There will be a focus on evaluation of the candidates understanding of technical, analytical & logical skills.

Educational Requirement:

• Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or Business Administration).
• Certification in Travel Management or related fields will be an added advantage.
• Educational criteria 60% throughout (10th, 12th, Graduation and PG if applicable)

Experience:

• 3-4 years
