Tax Executive/Sr. Executive

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 3-4 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:

GST Compliance, TDS & Income Tax:

• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, GSTR-9 & 9C)
• Preparation of multiple GST reconciliations between books and returns/IMPS
• Preparation of monthly TDS payment workings and ensure timely deposit of monthly TDS
• Preparation of TDS return and filing Form 26Q/26AS
• Assisting in preparation of GST Refund working
• Ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines

Litigation & Compliance Support:

• Assisting in tax litigation matters (GST & Income Tax)
• Assisting in preparation and arrangement of documents for GST/ Income Tax Audits and notices.

Audit & Documentation:

• Preparation of working and data for statutory, internal, and tax audits
• Maintaining proper documentation and records for assessments and audits

Accounting:

• Accounting of GST, TDS and Income Tax-related entries.

Other:

• Any specific task assigned on a time-to-time basis
• Assisting in tax-related report development in ERP
• Assisting in AI implementation for tax related area

Qualification:

• CA Inter dropout with 1-2 yrs. of experience / B. Com with 3-4 yrs. of experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Must have a strong basic knowledge of GST & TDS compliance and litigation.
• Computer Literate Strong Excel skills (Strong MS-Access additional feature)
• Experience with ERP accounting package
