Job Title: Executive Project Manager

Location: Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh

Project Type: FMCG / Industrial

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Based out of site, responsible and accountable for leading the construction team for execution and successful delivery of projects.
• Direct the Project Engineering team, Construction Managers (as applicable), and Assistant Project Managers (APMs) across disciplines including Civil and MEP.
• Prepare the master construction program with support from the Project Coordinator and Construction Manager / APM; monitor for timely execution of milestones.
• Own and ensure the on-time achievement of all project deliverables, ensuring alignment to scope, cost, and quality.
• Lead the preparation and upkeep of the project risk register and devise mitigation measures for risks identified at site.
• Supervise and ensure safe execution of all critical activities in coordination with the H&S Manager and as per approved safety protocols.
• Take full ownership of construction delivery in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, and approved method statements.
• Continuously track contractor work progress and performance with respect to both time and cost benchmarks.
• Ensure that only authorized and approved works are carried out at site, preventing deviations or rework.
• Oversee complete project documentation and reporting including client-facing weekly, monthly, and executive-level reports.
• Oversee contractor bills based on joint measurement records and construction teams validation as per contractual terms.
• Lead assessment and planning of labour and material resources to ensure availability in line with construction needs.
• Ensure adherence to statutory labour compliance including child labour avoidance and related legal obligations.
• Independently handle multiple projects simultaneously, preferably in the built-up area range of 13 lakh sq. ft.
• Advise clients proactively in case of slippage in timelines and propose executable mitigation strategies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance project scope and support add-on revenue generation in coordination with the client and internal management.
• Actively participate in management decision-making by providing critical inputs based on site performance and risks.
• Responsible for end-to-end billing and collection of project fees in line with client deliverables.
• Ensure full compliance with QMS SOPs and maintain all project records accordingly.
• Responsible for monitoring employee engagement and reducing attrition; act as the SPOC for all employee engagement activities at site.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Projects.
• Preferred to have basic experience in AutoCAD and good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal communication in English language.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 18+ years of relevant experience in construction project management, including leadership roles managing large multidisciplinary teams.
• Preferred experience in executing Solar Cell Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical projects. Should have experience working on projects from inception to handover.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities with the capability to manage multiple stakeholders and consultants.
• Proven track record in delivering large projects within timelines, budget, and quality standards.
