Compensation
16,000 per month (Contract, Remote - India-based candidates)
We are seeking an Executive Content & Operations Associate to research, curate, and create refined content centered on Indian culture, handicrafts, heritage, and regional traditions.
This role is focused on thoughtful storytelling, not generic social media marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Research Indian cultural traditions, handicrafts, textiles, architecture, symbolism, and regional heritage
Source credible articles, references, and archival material (government bodies, museums, cultural institutions)
Write or adapt content for:
LinkedIn: articulate, narrative-driven, intellectually sound
Instagram: visually refined and culturally respectful
Curate appropriate images and visual references aligned with a luxury, heritage-led brand
Ensure factual accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and consistency in tone
Deliver 68 high-quality posts per month on each platform (quality over volume)
Occasionally engage with culturally relevant brands, institutions, and thought leaders in a thoughtful, editorial manner
Draft and respond to professional emails with clarity and refinement
Coordinate structured follow-ups with suppliers, clients, and partners
Maintain organized documentation of communications and ongoing projects
Assist in organizing research materials, proposals, and presentations
Support trade show preparation, vendor coordination, and administrative tasks
Required Skills
Strong research and writing skills
Excellent command of English (formal, polished, professional)
Deep interest in Indian culture, heritage, handicrafts, or history
Ability to distinguish heritage storytelling from lifestyle or trend-based content
Visual sensibility for cultural imagery, textures, materials, and details
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Ability to manage multiple threads of communication professionally
Discretion and professionalism in handling business correspondence
Preferred Background
Cultural studies, history, heritage conservation, museum studies, textiles, design research, journalism, or related fields
Experience working with or studying Indian handicrafts, artisan ecosystems, museums, cultural institutions, or government initiatives
Prior experience creating culture-focused content is highly valued
Experience
13 years of relevant experience (flexible for the right candidate with strong work samples)
