Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Executive Assistant to the Founder based in Chennai, with flexibility for some remote work. The Executive Assistant will work closely with the Founder to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, drive execution across teams, and maintain overall organizational efficiency.
The role involves managing schedules, coordinating communication, tracking sales and team progress, and ensuring that priorities are followed through without delays. This is not a routine administrative role, it requires ownership, strong follow-up, and the ability to bring structure and accountability across functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Founders calendar, meetings, and priorities to ensure effective time utilization
- Track sales pipeline, follow-ups, and closures to ensure no opportunities are missed
- Coordinate with teams daily and ensure tasks, deadlines, and commitments are met
- Conduct regular follow-ups with team members to track progress and resolve delays
- Prepare and share daily reports summarizing sales, team updates, and key issues
- Maintain weekly reports on performance, progress, and pending actions
- Monitor customer queries and ensure timely responses and issue resolution
- Manage communication including emails, calls, and internal coordination
- Track payments, expenses, and important financial due dates
- Support project execution, documentation, and overall operational efficiency
- Maintain CRM systems, task trackers, and business data accurately
- Proactively follow up on pending items and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- 25 years of experience in Executive Assistant, Operations, or similar roles
- Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills
- Strong follow-up ability and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of ownership, initiative, and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and basic tracking tools
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Prior experience in startup or high-growth environments is preferred
