Job Description
Company Description Jindal Tubes operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, producing Jindal Multi Layer Composite (MLC) pipes in accordance with IS:15450 standards. These pipes combine the strengths of both metal and plastic while minimizing their individual limitations, offering durability and reliability for a wide range of applications. The aluminum core is designed to be diffusion tight, preventing oxygen and gas permeation, and reducing snap-back forces and heat expansion with temperature changes. Each pipe consists of an overlapped aluminum core with inner and outer polyethylene layers, permanently bonded through adhesive layers. The aluminum thickness is carefully selected to meet compressive and flexural strength requirements, reflecting the companys focus on quality and performance.
Role Description The Executive Assistant role at Jindal Tubes is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehradun. This role involves providing comprehensive executive administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing expense reports. The Executive Assistant will handle correspondence, draft and format documents, and maintain organized records and files for leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities also include supporting executive decision-making through information gathering, preparing presentations and reports, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items. The role requires regular interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining professional communication and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Executive Administrative Assistance and Administrative Assistance skills, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and document handling.
- Candidates should possess solid Executive Support and Expense Reports skills, with experience in supporting senior leadership and managing travel, expenses, and related documentation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels, draft clear correspondence, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should be proficient with office productivity tools (such as email, spreadsheets, presentations, and document editors) and comfortable learning new systems.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role; experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is an advantage.
- Candidates should have a relevant educational background, such as a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Candidates should demonstrate reliability, discretion in handling confidential information, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
