ETL Developer

We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer with strong hands-on experience in Informatica, UNIX, and SQL to design, develop, and support enterprise data integration solutions. The role involves building reliable ETL pipelines, performing data analysis, and ensuring high data quality across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica (PowerCenter/IDMC).
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts for job automation, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Ensure data quality, completeness, and accuracy through validations and reconciliations.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support batch processing and releases.
• Work closely with QA, DBA, and business teams in an Agile environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 36 years of strong experience in Informatica ETL development
• Proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, performance tuning)
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting
• Experience working with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices
• Experience with scheduling tools (Autosys/ControlM/Cron any)

Good to Have

• Exposure to production support and batch monitoring
• Basic knowledge of performance tuning and indexing
• Experience in Agile/Scrum projects
• Cloud ETL exposure is a plus
