Role Overview & What We Look For

As an E-Software Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing industrial and automotive diagnostics software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance diagnostic solutions that interface with multiple hardware devices and communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics Application Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain diagnostic software applications for industrial and automotive systems.
• Device Communication & Integration:
• Interface with hardware using standard protocols such as USB, Ethernet, RS-232, CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, and Modbus for real-time data exchange and system diagnostics.
• Software Development & Implementation:
• Implement, test, and optimize software features in line with project and industry requirements, ensuring reliability and maintainability.
• User Interface & Data Visualization:
• Develop intuitive user interfaces for real-time signal monitoring, data visualization, and graphical diagnostics.
• Testing & Troubleshooting:
• Perform systematic testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis to ensure robust and stable application performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with hardware, testing, and system teams to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery.
• Documentation & Stakeholder Interaction:
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and user manuals. Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements and track development progress.

Core Competencies

• Proven experience in industrial or automotive diagnostic application development
• Strong programming skills in C# (WPF/WinForms), C++, Python, or Java
• Experience with data visualization and graphical signal representation
• Knowledge of embedded programming and system integration
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Good to Have

• Experience with Qt Framework
• Exposure to MATLAB/Simulink, Vector CANoe, or similar tools
• Knowledge of RTOS or Embedded Linux
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Understanding of device encryption and decryption mechanisms
