Equity Research (Sell-Side Research & Operations), Semiconductor or Metal & Mining Sector, Sr Associate/ Delivery Lead

Job location - Bangalore

Experience - 4+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and updating financial models and carrying out valuations
• Preparing earnings reviews and previews
• Experience in writing analytical reports and earnings conference call summaries
• Experience preferred but not mandatory in initiation of coverage support including building models, valuation, and writing reports
• Collecting, analysing and summarising news
• Handling routine periodical updates, preparing charts, tables, and maintaining databases
• Handling ad-hoc client requests
• Updating/creating marketing presentations

Required Background:

• Research abilities-

-Excellent financial modelling and research report-writing skills

-Providing own valuation views after carrying out both relative and DCF-based valuations

• Numerical abilities-

-Building complex, error-free models with well-defined revenue/cost driver assumptions

-Carrying out basic earnings sensitivity analysis

• Proficient in MS Office Suite of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good client relationship management skills and communication skills
• CA/CFA/MBA Finance from a reputed university or similar qualification
• Prior research exposure to the Semiconductor or Metal & Mining Sector
