Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Epileptologist for a full-time, on-site position based in Mangalore. The Epileptologist will provide specialized medical care to patients with epilepsy and other seizure disorders. Day-to-day tasks will involve diagnosing and treating epilepsy, interpreting diagnostic tests such as EEGs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing and implementing personalized treatment plans. The role also involves patient education, ongoing monitoring, and keeping up-to-date with advancements in epilepsy care and research to ensure the highest standard of service is provided.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology, with fellowship training or specialization in Epileptology.
• Strong expertise in diagnosing and treating epilepsy, including interpreting EEGs and other diagnostic tools.
• Proficiency in working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Compassionate patient care skills, with the ability to communicate complex medical information effectively to patients and families.
• Commitment to continuing education and staying informed on the latest research and treatment strategies in epilepsy care.
• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting, managing a diverse patient population.
• Valid medical license to practice in Australia or ability to secure Australian licensure.
