A leading Travel Technology company with a strong global presence is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join its high-impact technology division in Pune.

Role: Engineering Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
Architect and lead development of .NET-based solutions using ASP.NET Core, Web API, MVC, and Microservices
Drive engineering excellence with clean architecture, SOLID principles, code quality, and best development practices
Ensure strong CI/CD practices, structured code reviews, and unit testing frameworks such as xUnit and MSTest
Support modernization initiatives across Azure cloud migration, AI/ML integration using Azure OpenAI, and data transformation programs
Team & People Management
Lead and manage engineering teams of 10+ members across backend and frontend functions
Mentor, coach, and develop engineers through regular feedback, performance reviews, and career development planning
Manage staff engineers, define goals, drive performance outcomes, and support compensation recommendations
Strategic Execution
Partner closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and Solutions teams to align technology delivery with business priorities
Drive Agile/Scrum delivery including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog prioritization
Manage delivery timelines, stakeholder expectations, risks, resource planning, and execution commitments
Business & Operational Excellence
Define the technical roadmap aligned with business and department strategy
Resolve production challenges and customer escalations with speed and ownership
Recommend process improvements, operational efficiencies, and innovative engineering solutions
Ensure transparent communication and strong stakeholder engagement across teams
What Were Looking For:
10+ years of software engineering experience with 35 years in technical leadership roles
Strong experience in engineering management and people leadership
Hands-on exposure to full-stack .NET development (good to have)
Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and Azure ecosystem
Expertise in scalability, system reliability, security, and performance engineering
Experience with Agile / SAFe methodologies
Proven people management experience leading 7+ engineers within the same product/project team
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
