Engineering Manager – AI-Native Development

We are hiring an Engineering Manager for a USA-based Healthcare startup to lead a high-velocity AI-assisted engineering team.

We are looking for someone who combines strong engineering leadership with modern AI-native development practices (vibe coding) and can help teams ship faster using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, and agentic workflows.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and mentor frontend/backend engineering teams

* Drive architecture, code quality, delivery timelines, and engineering processes

* Improve engineering productivity using AI-assisted workflows

* Collaborate with product, design, and founders in a startup environment

* Review technical designs and guide scalable system development

Key Skills

* Strong experience with modern web stacks (React, Node.js, Python/Django, APIs)

* Experience managing distributed engineering teams

* Strong system design and problem-solving skills

* Comfortable working in agile startup environments

* Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices

Good to Have

* Healthcare domain experience

* Experience with AI agents, RAG systems, automation, or LLM integrations

* Prior startup or SaaS product experience
