Role - Engineering leader (Backend)

Experience - 8-12 years in engineering roles building consumer-facing or retailer-facing products. At least 3-5 years leading lean, high-impact teams.

Location - Bangalore (5 days work from office)

The Engineering Leader - is a senior engineering leadership role with end-to-end ownership of

J24 consumer and retailer-facing technology. You will work closely with founders, business leaders and strategic partners to envision and build the future of retail. The charter: build world-class technology for J24. Empower J24 entrepreneurs in providing best in class standardized experience to millions of urban middle class consumers shopping at J24 stores. Scale the J24 network of stores, drive innovative products to increase the sales and profitability of the stores, and scale this product portfolio to millions of kiranas across India. J24 is the proving ground and the ambition is to transform the entire kirana retail ecosystem. This is not an execution role. You are a thought partner to business leaders - you own both business outcomes and engineering outcomes. You should be excited about the future of technology and obsessed with bringing that goodness to kiranas and their consumers. This role reports to the Vice President of Engineering.
