Engineering Delivery Excellence

Lead engineering delivery activities across Common Core platforms and shared technology capabilities while ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable execution aligned to enterprise priorities.

TCoE Capability Development

Help establish and scale high-performing engineering capabilities within the Technology Center of Excellence (TCoE), including onboarding, delivery standards, engineering governance, and operational maturity.

Modern Engineering Practices

Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, API-first development, cloud-native patterns, and modern engineering delivery practices across distributed teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with architecture, product, infrastructure, security, data, customer platform, and delivery teams to support integrated execution across enterprise transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead engineering delivery coordination across Common Core technology initiatives, including insurance platforms, customer platforms, integrations, data, AI enablement, and shared enterprise services.
2. Establish and scale engineering delivery capabilities within the Technology Center of Excellence (TCoE) in collaboration with global technology leadership.
3. Support hiring, onboarding, mentoring, training, and operational development of engineering resources across onshore and offshore teams.
4. Lead technical capability development and engineering enablement initiatives across the TCoE focused on enterprise technologies including EIS, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, React, React Native, APIs, cloud platforms, and modern software engineering practices.
5. Engineering delivery, capability development, Devops, Cross functional, Technical delivery manager, Agile
6. Act as a coordination bridge between TCoE engineering teams and business and technology stakeholders across the United States and Europe to support aligned execution and operational collaboration.
7. Partner closely with architecture, product, and delivery leadership to align engineering execution with enterprise technology standards and transformation objectives.
8. Support implementation of modern software engineering practices, including Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, API-first development, and release management.
9. Coordinate engineering activities across distributed teams, system integrators, vendors, and enterprise stakeholders.
10. Drive execution transparency across engineering workstreams, including delivery milestones, dependencies, risks, operational metrics, and resource coordination.
11. Support establishment of engineering governance standards, development workflows, tooling strategies, coding standards, and operational processes.
12. Collaborate with Information Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure engineering activities align with enterprise security, compliance, and operational standards.
13. Support operational readiness, deployment coordination, environment planning, and production transition activities.
14. Facilitate Agile / SAFe delivery routines, engineering planning sessions, dependency management, and execution governance activities.
15. Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering delivery practices, team effectiveness, automation capabilities, and operational maturity.
16. Build strong working relationships across IPH, PPG, TCoE, and strategic delivery partners to support aligned and predictable transformation delivery.

Required Skills & Abilities

1. Strong engineering delivery leadership experience across complex enterprise technology initiatives.
2. Ability to coordinate and lead globally distributed engineering teams within fast-paced transformation environments.
3. Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native delivery models.
4. Experience supporting enterprise application development, integrations, APIs, and distributed platform ecosystems.
5. Strong organizational, planning, dependency management, and execution coordination capabilities.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across business, product, architecture, engineering, and vendor organizations.
7. Ability to support engineering governance, operational discipline, and scalable delivery processes across distributed teams.
8. Demonstrated ability to identify risks, resolve blockers, and drive execution transparency across engineering workstreams.
9. Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycle management, release coordination, and operational readiness practices.
10. Acts as a collaborative and accountable leader who supports a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, technology delivery, or enterprise application development.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams or distributed delivery organizations.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives involving cloud platforms, integrations, customer platforms, or core enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with modern application architectures, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with offshore delivery models, system integrators, and globally distributed engineering teams.
• Experience supporting Agile / SAFe delivery environments.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Dynamics 365, Power Platform, EIS, Databricks, Azure, or similar ecosystems preferred.
• Strong understanding of enterprise delivery governance, engineering operations, and scalable software development practices.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with insurance, financial services, or regulated industry environments preferred.
• Experience establishing engineering standards, operational processes, or delivery governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting CI/CD platforms, release automation, or cloud-native engineering environments.
• SAFe, Agile, PMP, Azure, or cloud-related certifications preferred.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across global time zones including North America and Europe.
• Periodic travel may be required based on program and organizational needs.
